Be advised: membership is closed—this poem has ended.
The Wordless Poets were an open source society; all were welcome to join. To qualify as an official member of the order candidates were asked to submit at least one wordless poem for inclusion in the public archive; works containing language were not accepted.
The Wordless Poets submitted their poems to poetic publications/prizes for the explicit purpose of being rejected on the grounds of not being poetry. Rejections were also archived publicly as a testament to poetry’s past.
